monday.com Backlog Prioritization with Ducalis

monday.com is great for planning and doing the work. But a default priority field is a weak way to rank a backlog: there are no shared criteria, no team estimates and no score you can explain to stakeholders.

Ducalis has no native monday.com integration, so the items move through a CSV file: import them, score them with the criteria your team agrees on and take the ranked list back.

How to prioritize monday.com items

  1. Export the items from monday.com to a CSV file. If export is not available on your plan, copy them into Google Sheets and download the sheet as CSV.
  2. Import the file into a Ducalis board and map the columns to issue fields. See CSV import.
  3. Choose a framework or your own criteria and invite the team. Each teammate scores the items against the criteria, and Ducalis calculates the priority.
  4. Export the ranked list to an Excel-friendly CSV and update the order in monday.com. See Export data.
